Traveling is exciting but it can also be stressful. Take some help wherever you can to make your journey as convenient and simple as possible, while still enjoying every minute of the time that you are away!

Some tips to make your trip a bit smoother are:

Hire a limo! Depart for the airport in style by reserving a limo from a company like Ambassador Limousine. This ensures a smooth, comfortable ride that will get you to your flight or hotel in style, without the stressors of fighting traffic before the vacation even begins!

Pack with purpose. Make sure to pack your bags with access and convenience in mind. Place items that you might need near the zipper or in the outside-pockets.

Choose clothing that travels. When deciding what you will wear on your trip, choose easy-to-care-for clothes that will travel well and be easy to launder on the road.

Check your bags inside. Skip curbside check-in at busy airports and take your bags directly to the ticket counter yourself. This will help to avoid any chance of error, as it is not uncommon for bags to get the wrong tags in this often-hectic environment. People make mistakes!

Reduce the chance of spills. Spend attention and a few dollars packing your beauty, bath, and hygiene products to prevent spills. Use high-end containers, bottles, and jars from any retail store, and wrap the bags in re-sealable plastic bags for added security.

Re-purpose your dry-cleaning goods. If you use garment bags when you travel, save some cardboard extenders from the dry cleaners to help your clothes hold their shape when packed. Use plastic bags or tissue to prevent friction against your delicate garments inside your garment bag.

Keep your bags smelling fresh. Pack a bar of soap to use on your trip, but leave it unwrapped (and dry, of course) in your suitcase to give your belongings a fresh scent.

Add some storage. Hang a cheap shoe organizer on the back of the front-seats to provide extra room for the snacks, goodies, and toys that you will need on a long car-trip.

Air out your dirty laundry. Don't bring home a suitcase full of dirty laundry; pack a little laundry kit to carry with you and ensure you are able to wash items when traveling, which means you may be able to pack less. Include individual packets of detergent, a stain-stick, plastic bags, and a sewing kit to keep your clothes looking good when you are away.

It is always nice to get away, though some simple strategies can make traveling far smoother and less stressful. Try these tips to bring a little convenience to your trip, and to enjoy the journey even more!
